I would like to take a moment and give a little bit of pause as to why I am recreating my website, changing its scope, altering the banner I wave and anthem that I will sing silently in my own head as I write these posts.

The genesis of these new themes is that in my heart I feel myself changing I am no longer as narrowly focused in my creative ventures and I need to reflect those changes in the digital capturing of my thoughts. I am a designer, strategist, web developer, cook, photographer, and illustrator.  Before I started undertaking this change of heart I always thought that those commas made me scattered and fragmented. I have had a chance recently to meet some who have found strength not separation from their commas and it has given me a new brass ring to reach grasp.

Without fear, I am discarding the old paradigms of my previous sites and I have started creating on top of new thoughts and concepts that are percolating.  This site will not be a depository of my work, neither a reflection of trends nor a showcase of bells and whistles. It will be a playground to play in, a canvas to paint, and a challenge to force me to improve.  But most importantly this website will be a creation.

This area will be a place for me to express my observations, ideas, and opinions about how creativity affects the world I am in.

Creativity is woven into the very fabric of the creator.  Creators might embrace it, challenge it, or even try to run away from it.  In the end, it will enrich or haunt the person to their grave.  A finer point on the truth is that creativity might do both to the creator throughout their life. Great artists have described their desires and abilities as a gift and curse from god. I have lived through glimmers of that description with thankfully a positive impression. I can say without a doubt that I am blessed to experience the inner pull and stretch of the fabric of me.

I hope that this virtual space will reflect that over time. Welcome to the beginning of my creation.
